Solicitor-review note: these Terms of Service were drafted by Claude (AI) from standard UK SaaS/education-provider templates, per our documented drafting approach — they are not solicitor-authored. Independent solicitor review is recommended and currently pending; go-live is not blocked on that certification. Questions: support@tradingvigilante.com.

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Trading Vigilante website, content, community, and any courses, tools, or services made available on it (the "Service"), operated by VDM Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Who we are

Trading Vigilante is a trading-education brand operated by VDM Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. We provide educational content, community access, and tooling related to trading and markets. We are not a financial adviser and not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) — see our risk disclaimer for the full position.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other users’ accounts, or any systems or networks connected to it;
  • copy, scrape, resell, sublicense, or redistribute course content, community content, or any other material from the Service without our written permission;
  • use the Service to harass, abuse, defraud, or mislead other users or third parties, or to post unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service, introduce malware, or attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without authorisation;
  • misrepresent our educational content as personalised financial advice or a guarantee of trading results (see the risk disclaimer).

We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who breaches this section (see “Termination” below).

Intellectual property

All content on the Service — including course materials, articles, videos, graphics, the Trading Vigilante name and logo, and the underlying site code and design — is owned by or licensed to VDM Ltd and is protected by copyright, trade mark, and other intellectual-property laws. Purchasing a course or subscribing does not transfer ownership of that content to you; it grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use it for your own learning, subject to these Terms. You retain ownership of any content you post to our community (e.g. posts, comments), but you grant us a licence to host, display, and moderate it as part of running the Service.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so under English law — for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, the Service — including all educational content, tools, and community material — is provided “as is” and for educational purposes only, without any warranty that it is accurate, complete, or will lead to any particular trading outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • we exclude all implied warranties and conditions relating to the Service’s fitness for a particular purpose;
  • we are not liable for any trading or investment losses you incur based on information, opinions, or tools provided through the Service — see the risk disclaimer for the full position on trading risk;
  • our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Service, however arising, is capped at the total amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim;
  • we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits, loss of trading opportunity, or loss of data.

Termination

You may stop using the Service, or cancel a subscription, at any time by contacting support@tradingvigilante.com; see our refund and cancellation policy for what happens to any payment already made. We may suspend or terminate your access, with notice where reasonably practicable, if you materially breach these Terms (including the “Acceptable use” section above) or if we reasonably believe your continued access poses a risk to the Service or other users. On termination, the licence to access paid content ends, except where a refund right under our refund policy applies.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the Service or to legal requirements. Where a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify existing customers (e.g. by email or a notice on the site) before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim, save that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK you may bring proceedings in your own local courts instead. Before starting formal legal proceedings, please contact us at support@tradingvigilante.com so we can try to resolve the matter directly.
